Masailand Safari Lodge offers 54 rooms, including 36 Deluxe Double/Twin rooms and 18 Executive Suites. Executive Suites include a separate lounge area and private balconies with views of Mount Meru and Kisongo valleys. Family rooms have connecting doors and can accommodate up to 4 people with 1 double bed and 2 single beds.

Located 10 km from Arusha city center, the lodge sits atop a hill with views of Mount Meru. It is 45 minutes from Kilimanjaro International Airport and 3 hours from Nairobi. Nearby landmarks include Maasai Market Curios and Crafts (3.5 km), Tanzanite Experience (3 km), and Cultural Heritage Centre (2 km). A free roundtrip airport shuttle is provided.

The hotel is set on a hillside away from the city center, offering a peaceful atmosphere. The rooms, however, did not meet my cleanliness expectations, lacking the promised poolside and mountain views. The location, while near the airport, requires a rough drive up a dusty backroad from central Arusha.

However, the poolside and mountain views were truly unique and beautiful. The service was excellent but a bit overwhelmed initially, and the staff were kind and helpful.
